We welcome enquiries from patients who would like to join our patient group. Our patient group meetings are every 3 months 03:00 PM to 04:30 PM and we have recently started a new group since COVID restrictions as it’s always nice for patients to come and see us at the practice.
Our 1st meeting was on 23rd November and despite us putting up notices in the practice we had one member attend. However, this did not discourage us and we are actively currently seeking other patients to join us. Please come and join us as we feel as patients your views are important to us and with your assistance we can join together as a community to discuss the things that are important to us all as patients. My experience as a Practice Manager and participation in previous PPG groups has led to improvements within the practices. We have reviewed survey results and made improvements, designed and taken on the role of developing newsletters for the practice. Supported the practice with Flu and Covid clinics. Set up a book collection service, set up a food box in reception for patients, arranged clothes and toy collections for the hospices to collect.
I also appreciate that some patients may be very busy with other commitments or less mobile however we can include patients who wish to have a virtual role and feedback to the group. Everyone is welcome for a cup of tea / coffee and biscuits – Kindly contact the practice on the email address below
